Victory (Site-based) Mentor/Volunteer Program  

VICTORY stands for "Volunteer In Community Teams (that)

Out Reach (to) Youths".  At Vision of Restoration, we believe that community members who yearn to re-build their own socially and economically impoverished neighborhoods can break the yoke of intergenerational social deterioration and decline by mentoring our youth.  Vision of Restoration (VOR) VICTORY mentors are placed in schools and other community organizations to restore the custom of community involvement with youth.  The VOR VICTORY Mentor Program aims to promote social responsibility, and raise community awareness and bonding in youth.  Mentoring is also a deterrent to substance abuse, delinquency, academic failure and other barriers to healthy youth development.
